Formatter 1.0.7 issues with Zeffy to Monday integration

I set up a complex zap to capture answers from Zeffy questions (for events)- and it’s worked well for over a year. For these events, I need to select the 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) answer out of 5 questions, and the “old” Formatter 1.0.7 had me enter a number to specify which answer I wanted (n-th) to pull over to Monday. 

I copied and pasted the step from an existing path into a new path for a new event, but it came over as “Formatter” and the option for Pick from List only allows 1st, last, or random - even though the info box shows n0th as an option.

This has completely broken my Zeffy->Monday connectivity for any new events as I can’t get the data over now. What happened for Formatter 1.0.7 and is there any workaround?

Trying to use the Text Split function won’t work because some answers might have commas in them, which messed that up as commas are the delimiter. 

HELP!!!

Hi ​@UHCA-Marc 

For the field, use the [...] button at the right to switch to CUSTOM mode, then you can enter a number.

See screenshot below.

Thanks much for that quick reply, but hitting the […] next to operation does not bring up the “Choose value” box like you show … it brings up this Search box for Insert Data for Operation… 

I get that same “choose value” box you showed on the steps I defined months ago that are labeled “Formatter by Zapier 1.0.7” but NOT on the “new” ones that show as “Formatter by Zapier” … that’s leading me to think that the Formatter has changed???

What’s weird is that I copied the box that says “1.0.7” and when pasted into a new path, it quickly looses the 1.0.7 and … that’s why I’m here.

Something has changed, no?

I’m almost ready to move this over to Make because I’m stuck having to manually re-enter every item for this event that comes over, and that’s not viable :(

ARGH!!!! How do I get FOrmatter 1.0.7 back???!!!???

THIS is what changed :( the “old” version 1.0.7 let me select n-th … but I tried using copilot on this and this is what is said

I tried the AI tool before seeing ​@Troy Tessalone answer - that didn’t work the last 3 times I tried it … but this time it did (!!). Thank you for helping me see through the fog, I must have been doing something wrong. You have helped more than you know!!!
