When we search for a Jira issue we always get an empty “Field Assignee”.
We would like to use the assignee of the issue. The rest of the data is filled as expected.
Anyone else having this problem or am I missing something?

To troubleshoot issues with the Jira assignee field in Zapier, ensure the connected account has permission to view the field and check Jira settings to confirm it is accessible via API. Verify the correct field mapping in the Zap setup and update the Jira app in Zapier to the latest version.

Jira settings are ok ✅
Mapping is ok in zap setup. All other data comes in correctly, only assignee is not populated.✅

I don't know how I could update the jira app in zapier to the latest version. I just use the only one that's available.

Maybe a change was done in the Jira Cloud Api to fetch the assignee? I'm curious if more people have this problem.

I believe the Jira Software Cloud trigger returns multiple fields that contains the Assignee. Could you please try loading in a new sample data from the “Updated Issue” trigger by clicking on the “Find new records” button and select the most recent sample data.

After that, please try searching for the field again and see if it’ll return the Assignee data.
