Hi,

I’m trying to create a trigger to find and update custom entity in Microsoft Dynamics.

The problem is that the only field which is “searchable” is the ‘Name’ of the record while I wish to find an exact unique number or an ID.

The table in dynamics was created via powerapp editor and the ‘Name’ field is identical to the ID column.

But still, zapier don’t offer me to search based on the ID column.

 

any ideas?

Hi @Ndh 

If the Name field has the same values as the ID field, then try searching by the Name field.

 

If you need more help, post screenshots with how your Zap step is configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field types and field descriptions.
