Question

Filter in Zap not recognizing columns from Google Sheets

I am going through current zaps to replace existing spreadsheets used with a new one for the year. However, the Zaps are only recognizing a limited number of columns (note, there are not more columns than the previous sheet) and even with a test row triggered, it’s still not recognizing the columns I need to complete this update. No idea what to try next…

For reference I have columns through AT and successfully used these Zaps all last year with the same sheet (just a different copy). Yes, the right sheet has been updated to pull data from.

Hi @BWBF

Make sure to test Zap step 1 again to get a real row example to use to configure the Zap action steps.

Hello @BWBF  This is usually Zapier caching an old sample.

Zapier only sees columns that existed and had data when the trigger last tested. With copied sheets, new columns won’t appear until a fresh row is pulled.

Add a brand new row with values in those columns, retest the trigger, then click Refresh fields. If needed, reselect the spreadsheet and worksheet. Also make sure row 1 has headers with no blanks or merged cells.

Thanks! I did add a new row as a test with values in each column and it still won’t pull. Neither of the links provided here are working links, unfortunately.
