Fields are not transmitted from Facebook Lead Ads to Webhook

My FB new lead > webhooks blog has been working for many years. But sometimes (cases are becoming more frequent now) the fields of the contact data of the leads are not transmitted, the data from fb is present in the logs, the masks are configured correctly, but for some reason they are not captured.

Hi @LFA

When you see the {{VAR}} placeholder for the DATA IN in a Zap Run step, that means the mapped variable was either invalid or the mapped variable value was blank/empty/missing/null.

Check the DATA OUT from FB Lead Ads in Step 1 to see if those data points existed and had values to help you troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Hi @LFA

Whenever you see those {{…}} curly braces around entries in the Data In of an action, this means that there is a field mapped there in the Zap editor, but when the Zap ran live, this data was not sent from a previous step, or the name of the field differs between the sample and live data.

Those curly brackets indicate that the field mapped over from the trigger was empty or didn’t exist like it did when you set up the Zap.

To resolve this issue, load new test data in your Zap trigger, then map the affected fields in your action step(s) again.

You can read more about how to fix this here: https://zapier.com/help/troubleshoot/behavior/zap-trigger-isnt-sending-data.

Once that has been updated, publish the change to your Zap and replay the runs manually.
