Failed to create an incoming message in Intercom: Could not find a user with this email address.

Hi here,

 

I’ve been trying to create a zap that will send an incoming message in intercom when after a new issue has been created in linear. However, the “Send Incoming Message in Intercom” action failed during the test. Any insights as to why this happens? The email address I’ve added from which the message will be sent is valid.

Before we dig deeper, could you please confirm if the email address you’ve inputted in the “Send Incoming Message” step exists in Intercom? Based on the “Send Incoming Message” action description, this will send a message from a user into your Intercom app.
