I have a zap where when a record is completed in Airtable Zapier will automatically post the record contents in my private Facebook group. This was working fine until about 2 months ago where it just stopped posting to FB.

The Zapier app is installed in my group. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it in case that would help but nothing.

I get this error message:

 

Failed to create a post message in Facebook Groups

(#200) If posting to a group, requires app being installed in the group, and \ either publish_to_groups permission with user token, or both pages_read_engagement \ and pages_manage_posts permission with page token; If posting to a page, \ requires both pages_read_engagement and pages_manage_posts as an admin with \ sufficient administrative permission. Please check the settings within the Facebook Group, and verify that the Zapier application is enabled. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this yet?

Hey @MariaCarras sorry for the trouble here! If you go to your app connections page and reconnect the app, does that help get things working here? https://zapier.com/app/connections 

If not, the next step would be to review all of the troubleshooting steps in this article: https://zapier.com/apps/facebook-groups/help#common-problems-facebook-groups-zapier

I see you may have already done some of those so if at that point, things still aren’t working, you’ll want to reach out to our support team to investigate. They can determine the exact cause of what’s happening here and provide steps on how to best move forward.

I have the same issue - same error, although I have made everything as it should be. 
Does the Zapier only work when I am ADMIN of the Group on Facebook???

I’m having this issue and error message. When i go into my Facebook group ((i’m admin of that group) to remove and add Zapier as an “app”, i can’t see anywhere to do that anymore. i only have an option to click “...” three dots on top left → group apps → it just lists “Buffer” with full access and “Zapier” with “Apps You Can Allow Access” but there’s no where to enable access? I don’t even see on facebook group settings the area to even add a new app?
