I’ve created a Zap which has a trigger on ‘Shopify - New paid order’

Its creating the invoice in Moneybird via the ‘Create Sales invoice ‘ action of Moneybird. The price, quantity and name is working fine.

But on the order - there is also a line with the paid ‘shipment costs’ and ‘shipment method’

I tried to us a Zapier Utility to merge the name & price into the ‘Line Items’ but without result.

I cant find any solution for it , what am i doing wrong?

Hi @TMourik,

Welcome to the Community.

You're close to completing your Zap, but the shipment costs and method aren't in the invoice. This could be due to Shopify not including these details in the order, incorrect field mapping in Zapier, or Moneybird not displaying them correctly. Ensure your Shopify settings include shipment details, map them correctly in Zapier, and consider using the "Line Itemizer" tool if needed. Also, check that Moneybird is set up to accept these fields. If the issue persists, providing more details on your setup will help troubleshoot further.

Hi,

I’ve checked the payload data from the Shopify App - trigger ‘new order’ under the test tab, and i see there the shipment data.

So, i would like tot add that data merged into the ‘items list’ from the order, so it can be processed as a product line on a invoice aswel.

I even tried it via an Google Spreadsheet action and Google Add Multiple Rows,

So , how can add extra data ? (extra lines)

Hi @TMourik,

To include shipment data as a line item in your invoice, start with a Shopify "New Order" trigger. Use Formatter by Zapier to convert line items into a list, then add an "Add Multiple Rows" action in Google Sheets for order details. Finally, use another "Add Row" action to insert shipment data, ensuring your invoice template supports multiple rows correctly.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions or need further clarification, don't hesitate to ask.

Hey there @TMourik, just checking in—were you able to get the Moneybird invoices to include the shipping cost and method in the line items?

If you’re still stuck I’d be happy to help get things up and running, just let me know. 🙂
