I am attempting to run a ZAP from JotForms and Zap over to an excel spreadsheet in SharePoint.  A new row added to the spreadsheet.  The Row creates column 1, 2, & 4 populate.  None of the remaining 20+ columns update. I don’t care if the row is added at the top or bottom. I just need it to be consistent and all data to populate all fields.

Hi @maf2pk

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

I included all that in the ticket to “tech support”  it fills in like it completes submission date, source app and date.  Nothing else.  I have other functioning zaps same set up, but this one is just not working.

Hi there, @maf2pk 👋

Just came across this and had a look into your tickets with our Support team. It seems they’ve since identified the cause of the issue but I couldn’t see a reply back to their latest message, so I’m not sure if this definitely got solved.

Sharing the main details of their latest reply here in case it’s helpful to you, or anyone else coming across this in the future:

From what you’ve shared, it looks like the issue with the form answers is related to Jotform’s HIPAA compliance setting. If you choose to enable HIPAA compliance when connecting your Jotform account to Zapier, your Jotform account must also be fully set up as HIPAA compliant. Otherwise, Zapier won’t be able to access certain data, including form responses.

Here’s a helpful article from Jotform that walks through how to upgrade and configure your account for HIPAA compliance:  How to upgrade to HIPAA Compliance

If you haven’t yet upgraded your Jotform account to HIPAA compliance, you can try the following steps to receive form submission data properly:

  1. Open your Zap and go to the Jotform “New Submission” trigger step.
  2. Click on the Set up trigger tab.
  3. Reconnect your Jotform account.

  4. In the “Account HIPAA Compliant?” field, set it to “No.”

This will allow Zapier to fetch the full form submission data, including the answers you’re expecting.

Did making your Jotform account HIPAA compliant, or selecting No for the Account HIPAA Compliant field when reconnecting, do the trick?

Want to make sure you’re all set so please keep us posted on how it went! 🙂

This was not a solution.  The problem was not resolved.

Sorry to hear Support’s suggestion didn’t resolve things, @maf2pk and for the delay in my reply.

I had a closer look at the screenshots you posted here previously and it seems that the same field (Answers SATISFACTION DATA) has been selected for multiple fields:

If in the live run of the Zap that field is empty then that may explain why the other columns in the Excel spreadsheet aren’t being populated with the any information.

Can you try using a recent run of the Zap as the test record in the Zap’s trigger - check out our Select from previous Zap run guide for details on how to do that. Then remap the fields where that Answers SATISFACTION DATA field is currently selected and choose a different field that contains the relevant answer value for that column.

Hopefully that will sort it. 🤞 Keep us posted on how it goes!
