Excel Attachments not Transferring to Trello from Pipedrive
Hi Everyone
I have setup a link between Pipedrive and Trello to transfer documents as well as other text field data.
All was working OK when I first set it up but in the last week all documents (PDF, Emails etc) transfer fine but Excel documents are not transferring over.
When I look at the log file it appears Zapier know the files are there but for some reason they are not being deposited in Trello.
Could it be Excel file size ?
Any help on this would be really appreciated
Thanks
Barry

Hi @Barry O
Good question.
We will need more context about how your Zap steps are configured.
Please provide detailed screenshots.
Please also outline a specific example in order for us to evaluate and advise.
Hi Troy
Yes please see an example below:
these are the logs from one of my Zaps that did not send the Excel File
I hope this helps?
Thanks
Barry
@Barry O
One thing to check is if the file format is accepted.
There are different file formats for Excel files. (e.g. .xlsx)
.xlsm means it has macros, which may not be supported.
Thanks Troy
Yes they were Macro enabled so I will try with Macros disabled and see if it works.
Thanks
Barry
Hi Troy
I am still having issue with the file attachments of anything Excel related.
I changed the attachments to be only .xlsx and it still did not send the Excel, PDF, .msg etc all worked perfectly and I am very confused why Excel ‘did work’ and has now stopped.
I tried deleting the ZAP and then creating it again but for some reason now the new ZAP does not find any files even though I know they are there in Pipedrive.
This is the data being pulled from Pipedrive which shows the file is there in Pipedrive bit Zapier is no longer finding it. Very strange!
I am using the free version of Zapier currently so could that ne the issue?
I just wanted to check it was all working 100% before I subscribed.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
Hey there @Barry O,
Thanks for all of the additional information!
I’m jumping in to see if I can help! Before we dig deeper into this, the “File Attachments” field in the Trello action step requires the file to be publicly accessible. Could you please ensure that the mapped file in the “File Attachments” field is publicly accessible?
