I’ve made a simple zapier that works fine. Tested it manually multiple times, all good, can get records from hello asso, go through filters and such, and send a message on discord.

Perfect as long as I test manually.

But everytime someone made a payment, I received a mail with this error, and nothing was processed :

Error while hydrating data from HelloAsso: RefreshAuthError:

I failed to find anything anywhere about this

Hey @Somberlord,

Here is a helpful article about app connection error- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496261984525-App-connection-error-Not-authenticated-or-Unauthorized

Referencing some fixes from the article-

  • Check your user permissions in your app to ensure you have the right privileges.
  • Check your app plan to ensure you have the right plan level.
  • Reconnect your app account.

As the error also indicated, try reconnecting the account with sufficient permissions to see if it fixes it. Hope it helps!

Hello,

Thanks for the answer, and sorry for the delay, had to wait for someone to make a payment.

I tried all the things in the article, but nothing seems to work. Every time I test manually it works fine, when someone makes a payment, it doesn’t.

I contacted Zapier support

Hi @Somberlord

You may also want to try reaching out to HelloAsso Support for help with their Zap app integration.

Hello, I'm having the exact same problem and I can't seem to find the cause.I've reconnected everything, and the error is still there. I've been using the same Zap for a long time without any problems, and suddenly this error appeared.Have you found a solution since then?

Not yet, but Zapier support has escalated the ticket to the Hello Asso development team.

This appears to be an authentication refresh issue that's specific to live webhook events. The fact that manual testing works indicates your initial connection is valid, but there's likely a problem with how the authentication token is being refreshed when HelloAsso sends real-time webhook data to Zapier.

I've escalated this as a bug report to the HelloAsso development team since they created and maintain the integration.
