Set up a zap 5 days ago and was notified that the client’s lead aren’t coming in since the zap was turned off. Closed and re-open the zap to turn it on but that didn’t work, same thing after making some edits and retesting the steps. I deleted that whole zap and started a new one then made sure to have it published, but seconds later I got the same error “Error turning Zap on: No valid draft found for Zap” when I attempted to run it.

Followed your recommendation (duplicated the zap, deleted the connection and reconnect) but still didn’t work. It only happens on this specific zap as I had set up another one today and that worked okay.

Can you post screenshots of the full page that shows the encountered error?


Sure, please see attached! We’ve tried turning the zap on by opening the zap itself but it will just be turned off after seconds then on the same page as shown on the screenshot, whenever we try to turn it on, that error shows up.

Try turning the Zap ON from within the Zap EDITOR.


That was the first thing we did, then tried it just now and it still after just a few seconds it shows ‘OFF’.

Checked the zap connections for Google Ads and LeadConnector and all seems fine, but to be sure I, once again deleted the zap connection for the specific zap that we’re having issues with and then reconnected it. Still got the same issue.

In your Zap, check the Change History (left rail) for clues.

You can also try opening a ticket with Zapier Support for further troubleshooting as they can see the logs.

Hi! Appreciate your response. I did follow the steps you provided (deleted the draft zap then run the zap again) but it unfortunately that didn’t resolve it as it just allowed me to turn on the zap while on the zap editor then when I checked under all of my zaps it shows ‘OFF’ again and had the same error when I tried to turn it on.

From what I understand, you've been experiencing a recurring issue with your Zap, "Google Lead Form - Outdoor Concepts KC", correct? If so, then I tried to check out that Zap, and appears that it has since been deleted.

Are you still experiencing this issue with another Zap on your account? If so, could you please send us the URL of that other Zap? This will help us in investigating the issue further and providing you with a suitable solution.

If you’ve got any questions regarding their suggestion it would be best to continue the conversation with them over email. If you can’t locate their reply I’d recommend searching your spam/junk folder or searching your inbox for any emails from zapier.com in case. Sometimes their emails can end up in the spam/junk folder by accident.
