Question

Error saving draft with GPT AI Actions

I have built my GPT twice now. The first time I got errors saying the Google Analytics API wasn’t responding correctly. Now I cannot save my GPT as I keep getting the ‘Error saving draft’ message.
At first it worked correctly, but after a couple of prompts asking for information about my Google Analytics account I get this message.

The message mainly occurs when there are too many files loaded into the GPT. I currently only have 1 file uploaded, but even with it deleted I get the same message.
Could the Zapier AI Action be overloading my GPT? Is there a way to purge all the information or data that got sent by the Zapier AI Action?

Thanks in advance,

Hello and welcome to the Community @HeroRoos! 👋

Hmm, it looks like OpenAI was having issues yesterday: https://status.openai.com/incidents/n254wyd7nml7. That incident was since resolved, so if that’s the cause of those “Error saving draft” errors then you should now be able to save your edits to the GPT. 🤞

Can you try saving it again and let us know if it’s able to successfully save it now?

Thanks for the welcome!

While it may have solved some issues, I have been able to close down on the issue.
It still persists, unless I remove the Actions that were added via the ‘Import from URL’ button. As soon as the actions and authentications are removed, the error disappears. I also had a couple prompts that were working, but that was shortly after I authenticated my account again via one of the little buttons that appears when you talk with the GPT (I’ve added a screenshot).

I am currently running the following actions:

  1. Google Ads: Create Repor

  2. Google Analytics 4: Run Report for a Propert

  3. Google Analytics 4: Send Measurement Events for an Applicatio

  4. Google Analytics 4: Create Measurement

  5. Google Analytics 4: Find Conversio

Thanks for getting back to me here, @HeroRoos. 🙂

Hmm, that’s very strange indeed. In that case, it may well be a bug with using the Import from URL option that you’re running into here rather than just a side effect of that previous OpenAI incident. I took a look but couldn’t find any bug reports for similar errors. So I’d recommend reaching out to the team that handles support for the AI Actions here: https://ai-feedback.zapier.app/contact-nla

Keen to make sure you’re all sorted here so please do report back here to let us know how you get on with them!
