I’m trying to add an all day event from my square invoice to my google calendar. sometimes i’ll get this error. i'm getting an error Required field "Start Date & Time" (start__dateTime) is missing. Required field "End Date & Time" (end__dateTime) is missing.. i do have all day marked as yes.

Hey @tnelson,

As you just mark this as an All day event you can just append T00:00:00Z to the start date and for end date just append T00:00:00Z+1d. You can append this directly in the Google Calendar action. Hope it helps!

Hi @tnelson

Help links for using GCal in Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/google-calendar/integrations#help

The error indicates there was no provided value for the Start/End Date/Time fields which are required fields.

For live Zap Runs, check the history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you trace and troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Hey @tnelson,

You can add +1d to the Start Datetime to give it in the End Datetime field. Suppose the Start Datetime is in the format YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ssZ, then the End Datetime would be YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ssZ+1d. You can just manually add +1d in the input field to make it a whole day event.

Here is a helpful article about common problems in Google Calendar- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8495964746381-Common-Problems-with-Google-Calendar.

Hope it helps!

Hey @tnelson 👋 Did Sparsh’s suggested approach for that End Date & Time field do the trick?

Let us know how it went! 🙂
