I am having problem connecting to WPForm with Zapier. I checked and confirmed that:

  1. I am using WPForm Pro with latest version
  2. “Disable storing entry information in Wordpress is unchecked.

But when i try to test the trigger, I keep getting the error:

Failed to fetch a form entry from WPForms Error while retrieving: JSON results array could not be located

Please help!

Thank you so much!

Hi @JudyTsai

Here’s a workaround…

Use the WPForms Webhooks Add-On: https://wpforms.com/addons/webhooks-addon/

Zap trigger: Webhook - Catch Hook

This will generate a unique webhook url to configure in WPForms.

@Troy Tessalone Hi - I am also running into this issue.

Your workaround requires an upgrade on WPForms to “Elite” - I already had to upgrade my subscription to use Zapier. I don’t want to have to pay more money while already paying for something that isn’t working!

Please let me know if the developers have figured out anything.

@JudyTsai - any updates on your side?

@kellek

You can try opening a ticket with Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

@Troy Tessalone I did! Have you heard anything about the progress of this issue?

Hi @kellek,

I did some digging into this, and it seems like, when it comes to the WPForms app, this could be because of a few items:

  • On the WP Forms side, do you have this "Disable storing entry information in Wordpress" option set on that side? I have more on this here: Link

In some cases, this can cause issues, and would need to be disabled and rechecked. If this is on, can you disable this, and see if the form comes across after?

  • Sometimes you may need to reconnect the app after changes like this, so it comes across, so I do have more on how you would do that here: Link

Kindly give it a try and let me know how it goes? I'll keep an eye out for your response!
