Question

Error creating ClickUp task: "Value must be an option index or uuid".

Hello,

I have read answers on the same topic, but I can’t find the way to solve my issue.

I have created simple zaps to create tasks in ClickUp when a new row is added in a Google Sheet.

I keep getting the error "Value must be an option index or uuid".

I don’t understand how to identify which column is the issue. I assume it is the ones that are dropdown lists in ClickUp, like the field Status.

Is there a way to identify the problematic column?

What is the correct way to deal with Dropdown lists?

Thank you for your help !

For us to have more info, post these:

  • screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode
  • screenshots showing the encountered error

@4ar0n5

We would need to see screenshots with how your ClickUp Zap step is configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field mappings.

For example, if you are trying to set “To Do”, then ClickUp expects a value of “to do”.
