I have a workflow whereby when someone registers to my zoom event, their information gets added to an excel sheet. This is saved in OneDrive.
This part is working perfectly.
In the same workflow, I then have a delay, and I set that delay to one day before the event.
After my delay, my outlook should then send an email to people who registered to the event to remind them the event is in one day.
The emails won’t send, I’ve tried everything! What do you recommend?

As you step through the zap as you’re building it, are you able to “test” the email step and have it sent to you?
Have you set the delay to something short like 1 minute, turned the zap on, then tested it yourself with live data? (You can even set up a different Zoom event just for your testing purposes if you’re worried someone might register for the actual event within your same testing window.)
Basically, you need to see if an email is able to be sent with your Outlook under any conditions. If not, there’s a problem with your Outlook connection. If the email *is* actually sent, then I think the problem might lie within the delay.
Looks like you have a static timestamp set for the Delay step.
Check to make sure the value is formatted correctly.
Click the field labels to see tooltips with more info.
Also, check the other field for “How should we handles dates in the past?” is set correctly.

Hi! Yes, the emails sends when testing. I think it lies within the delay. I am unsure how to format the delays - I am formatting it correctly (please see my image) as far as I am aware?
I tried a few times now and nothing happens.

You may not need to set the timezone (GMT) as that will be automatically inherited from the timezone set in the Zap settings (if set), otherwise it will you the timezone set for the Zapier Account.

Hi Troy. Thanks for your suggestion. As far as I can tell, I have it formatted correctly? I just ran another test and I was due to get an email 5 minutes ago (at 16:30). I did not get it an email. I formatted the date and time as YYYY-MM-DD 16:30.
What do you think?
And what should I change my ‘how should we handle dates in the past’ to?
Alternatively, in the ‘delayed until’ section I could click ‘/’ and choose the event start date zoom option. Is there a way to do this and set it as minus 1 day?
Any help appreciated. I feel I have tried everything. Thank you.
