Email confusion after resetting recovery codes in Zapier

I tried to reset my recovery codes because I was running out, mostly for other frustrating reasons that won’t matter here. When I did, I got this email below. It looks great, except clicking The Purple Box to “save” my new codes merely dumps me back into my Zapier account with no guidance. Nor does the email itself share a hint about what happens after one clicks The Purple Box.

That doesn’t help.

I’m already back in my account. I don’t need account access, mostly because I was lucky enough to create a duplicate browser tab where I was still logged in. I need my new codes. So … where are the codes that I supposedly “saved”? They’re not in the location where I would have expected them (“Security”), and I couldn’t find them under any other Account tab either.  

I’m all ears, and frankly poised to delete my account. I don’t have time for this nonsense. Security is supposed to make it harder on cybercrackers than paying customers to access an account … not the other way around.
