Hey :)

I am Using Zapier to manage my coaching community with “Circle”. Every seven days my members get access to new content.

This for I use Zapier to unlock the new content and then use a delay for seven days and unlock the next content.

My problem is: always when I want to create new content and change the existing zap, zapier gets confused with the new steps for the existing zaps (because of the delays).

For example: my Zap has 22 Steps (including delays) and I want to change it to 23 steps. The existings Zaps cant manage the new 23 Steps a I get plenty of errors.

I cant find a workaround. Maybe someone has an idea for me?

Hi @Dominik Barkow

Sounds like you’ll want to convert your 1 Zap into multiple Zaps.

It may be better to use a different app, such as Airtable, to handle the Delay logic.

Airtable has Views, which are segments of data that can include filter conditions. (e.g. Date = Today)

Views can be used to trigger Zaps.

1 View = 1 Zap

That way Airtable handles the Delay logic with the View Filter conditions.

So you are then able to edit the Zap steps without causing errors, because the Zaps won’t have Delay steps.
