I have set up a zap to take data from our Dynamics 365 CRM into Monday.com boards.

Although the data did transfer it surfaced the field “code” rather than the field name. From my research I can see you can set up Lookup tables - which, although inconvenient, would work for fields with static and limited options. However, this would not be a viable solution for large/constantly updating fields such as “Account” or “Contact”. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to tackle this or is it a known limitation of the app? Thanks!

Hi there, @Chris_P 👋

It sounds like you’re only seeing the ID for the field value instead of the corresponding name in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. If that’s the case, instead of a lookup table, perhaps you could try using the Find Account and Find Contact (Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM) search actions. Hopefully those search actions would allow you to search by the ID value and see the corresponding account/contact name.

Can you give that a try and let us know whether it does the trick?
