I have a Zap that connects to my Dropbox Sign account to send signature requests.  As of today, it says that the account is not connected and needs to have its authorization reconnected.  

I use Google SSO with Dropbox Sign.  When I tried to reconnect through my Zap, it asks me for my username and password.  I have a Google gmail account to use there, and have the password to it as well.  But when I tried to connect, it continues to tell me 

We hit an error adding your new account

authentication failed: The app returned “Unauthorized user.”.

  1. Make sure you click “Allow” or “Accept” on the permission popup
  2. Double Check your Account has the correct permissions

How can I resolve this?  I’ve verified that the password to the account works.  I went to Dropbox Sign and tried to log in with those credentials, but it says that I have to go through the SSO setup (as that is what I’ve been using this whole time).

Please advise, this is hurting my business.

Thank you for the help; unfortunately this did not work.  I tried with a different browser (Firefox) as well as incognito windows with both Chrome and Firefox.  I am still getting the same error.

We’re having the exact same problem and dont know how to resolve this! Already sent ticket.

Hi there @expediciondemarca,

I did some digging into our notes, and it seems like Dropbox Sign has two different types of plans: one is for their web accounts and the other is for API accounts. API accounts are required for their customers to use their API (and thus, to use Zapier).

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!
