Docusign records not syncing with Zap setup for new template


Hello,

I’m trying to send Docusign data to a Google sheet. However, I am using a new template in Docusign. Zap isn’t finding the records from the new template. Only shows records from the old/deleted template. 

What I am trying to do:

  1. Employee signs Docusign - Gets Completed Status
  2. Zap - takes the envelope completed data to add a top row showing desired data from the Docusign envelope.

Not sure what’s going on here. Any help here is appreciated.

Zap Step 1

Try using this Zap trigger: Docusign - Envelope Status Updated

Status: Completed

Download Form Data: true

 

Make sure to test and select a more recent example returned in the TEST tab.

 

Zap Step 2

Make sure to map variables from Zap Step 1 to fields/columns in Zap Step 2

We would need to see screenshots showing how each Zap step is configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.


Okay, here are the shots from the settings:

This data is from the old template that is deleted in Docusign (meaning template is deleted). I am trying to get my new template data/records but Zapier doesn’t pull those records. I have completed 3 Docusigns under the new template. Thx

Zap Step 1

Try using this Zap trigger: Docusign - Envelope Status Updated

Status: Completed

Download Form Data: true

 

Make sure to test and select a more recent example returned in the TEST tab.

 

Zap Step 2

Make sure to map variables from Zap Step 1 to fields/columns in Zap Step 2

Wow! Thank you for confirming that Troy’s resolution got the Zap running. This will significantly help our Community members to have as a reference for the same issue.


@Troy Tessalone actually, the trigger isn’t working. I tried clicking Run in the Zap, same error: Zap failed We couldn’t find any new envelopes.

For us to have current context, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible for the tabs, along with the encountered error.


@Troy Tessalone I created a new Docusign and completed it after setting up the zap. Here are the screenshots:

 


@Troy Tessalone the manual test worked on the last record, not the new completed Docusign after the fact.

Zap with Envelope sent or completed trigger not triggering/can't pull samples

You must have a paid Docusign plan to use this trigger

 

Any other potential restrictions with the DocuSign integration?

The Envelope sent or completed trigger only checks for new envelopes every 15 minutes.
