I cannot fill out a field because it always shows up as copy. Have restarted browser, changes browsers, logged in and out, unlinked both apps. Zapier is just totally glitched out on this one field.

Hi @kyleranney

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing your full Zap step so we can see which App and Event you are trying to use.

Hi @kyleranney 👋

I just came across this and spotted that you also reached out to our Support team about this and they opened up a feature request for the ability to map values to that type of field. We can’t make any promises around when/if that’ll definitely be added but we’ll be in touch via email once it is.

The Support team also shared a workaround, I’m not sure if you’ve had a chance to it a try yet but I’ll share the workaround from their email here in case it’s helpful to others running into similar issues:

“But there is a workaround! We can make use of custom data pill mapping; you can learn more here about how that works: https://community.zapier.com/featured-articles-65/how-to-manually-map-fields-that-do-not-appear-in-the-sample-data-aka-custom-pill-mapping-9738

I'll outline the steps below, and please note that personal information obscured for privacy and security.

To start, you can map the phone number in the 'name' field here:

Once the phone number data pill is there, highlight the phone number data pill, then paste it onto the 'phone number' field:

When you map it to the phone number field, it should look like this: {{1234567__phone1}}”

Hopefully that workaround helps to get things up and running in the meantime. If you have any further questions or if there's anything else we can help with do let us know! 🙂
