Creating a Zap from FoxIt Esign to Google Drive: Filename issue explained

I am trying to recreate a ZAP I used previously but am having trouble navigating the changes to the interface. The trigger action would be a document executed in FoxIt. Then, I added a Google Drive Upload action; however, it asks me for a filename and I can’t find anything that makes sense. The filename doesn’t exist until the action is completed, so how could I anticipate the file? Please help.

Hi @Kim Metro

When uploading a file you can designate the desired filename, otherwise it will inherit the filename in the metadata of the file being uploaded.

So you could set something like: [YYYY-MM-DD] [CLIENT NAME].doc

Otherwise, you might end up with a filename like: adslfkjsalkfj.doc

Thanks. I can’t get it to bring the PDF in at all - it brings in a txt file. I am referring to the “FILE” required field in the screenshot. I need help identifying the URL from FoxIt or whatever is holding up this process.

@Kim Metro

For the File field, you have mapped a FOLDER Access URL, which might not be a link to a file.
