Hi,

I’m putting together a zap for a Many Chat flow. I’m following a video that show how to set this up (part of a marketing course)

In the flow I am using Aweber as the app.  Then In the drop down of the “Action Event” I have to add a “tag”, but I don’t have “tag” as an option.

The flow I’m following is using a different email app (Bento)

Just wanted to know why they can choose “tag” which is the user email and then link the Many Chat “tag”

Hope this makes sense as I’m new to using Zapier and Many Chat!

Thanks

Hi @Ben Greenway

For us to have more context, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field mappings.

As well, it would be helpful to include specific screenshots from the video showing what you are referencing.

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

The first screenshot is the flow i’m trying to copy. They use Bento and when i try to add a 3rd box to the flow I don’t get this option to add a “tag”.

Is this something to do with Aweber?

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks

Ben

@Ben Greenway

AWeber supports tags in these Zap actions:

  • Create Subscriber
    • See screenshot
  • Update Subscriber

When i choose create subsciber I still don’t get the option for tag?

Is this because I’m on the free version of Zapier?

@Ben Greenway

Post screenshots showing how all of the fields are configured in Zap step 2: AWeber - Create Subscriber

@Ben Greenway

If there is no Tags field available for AWeber steps, then you’ll have to explore using advanced approaches with the AWeber API: https://api.aweber.com/#tag/Subscribers/paths/~1accounts~1{accountId}~1lists~1{listId}~1subscribers/post

I can’t see your reply on here only an email that’s been sent to me.

Sounds like a lot of hassle I’ll probably switch email providers to one I know is compatible straight away.

Thanks

Hi @Ben Greenway,

If you're having trouble viewing replies in the Zapier community forum, it could be due to browser issues, account syncing problems, or incorrect notification settings. Try clearing your browser cache, verifying your account sync, and checking notification preferences. For email provider integration, Gmail and Outlook are popular options with strong Zapier support. Reach out to the community for further assistance if needed.
