Question

Creating a new Google Drive sub-folder from a new Salesforce record and then updating that Salesforce record with the google drive folder link.

Hi All,

We’re a small VC team and we use Salesforce as our CRM. We enter ‘companies’ into Salesforce and then create ‘deals’ off of that.

For example, Amazon would be the ‘company’ and Amazon B, Amazon C, Amazon D would be ‘deals’. This is how we track different times we come across a company on yearly basis. So if we see Amazon B this year, and we decide to pass, we will re-enter Amazon C as the next ‘deal’ for us to explore.

We have Zaps creating Google drive folders for each new company and deal, however they don’t seem to be connected, atleast not anymore.

Previously, I think Salesforce Legacy, we could create a new deal record and it would automatically find the parent company folder in our G Drive and place that deal folder inside.

Now, it only seems to be creating the newest deal folder and I cannot find a way to connect the deal to the company automatically in G Drive.

Does anyone have any advice here?

Hi @Emmett Ding

For us to have context, please post screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured.
