Hey there!

Recently (last 2 - 3 weeks), I’m encountering an issue when trying to update a user on Intercom with the “Update or create user on Intercom” step.

I use a “Find user” step beforehand and user both the email address as well as the user id from that user to update it. I also have a filter after Find user to only proceed in case a user was found.

However, the “Update or create user on Intercom” step always seems to create a new user since the last 2 - 3 weeks. Which is very annoying as we’re creating duplicates.

Anybody has experience with this and / or solutions to it?

The issue might be because the Intercom version in the Zap is outdated. Could you please try updating the version of the app in the Zap by clicking “Update” button when on the “App & Event” section of the action step:
