Is it supported to have Zapier create a connection and write to a Real-time database on Firebase?

I have a Firestore Realtime database that needs to be written to from squarespace form. When setting up a Zaiper connection to tirebase it always errors out with a :

Zapier could not connect to your account.

Unable to verify that your connection has access to the Firebase/Firestore project XXXXX

This works well when we have a firestore database, only having an issues with a Realtime database.

I can confirm this database is US-hosted, with project ID no spaces in the name.

I saw some posts that Realtime database may not be supported, so wanted to check on that and see if it is indeed supported, what I can do to get this working

Hi @HYA

Good question.

Have you reviewed the Firebase help articles: https://zapier.com/apps/firebase/help

Yes, I have. They don’t shed light on this topic.

@HYA

Perhaps an existing Zapier Community Topic related to Firebase may provide guidance: https://community.zapier.com/search?q=firebase

Or you can try opening a ticket with Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
