Copilot deleted my Zap

i asked copilot to duplicate and repurpose my Zap, and it delted it, and now it shows as Private and i am unable to recover it, how can i recover it

Here is a helpful article about recovering the Zaps from Trash folder- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496326119565-Manage-your-Zaps

Referencing the process from the article-

Zaps that are moved to the trash folder will remain there for 30 days before they are permanently deleted. To restore Zaps in the trash folder:

  • Go to your Zaps page.
  • In the upper right, click 2e5e53fe84475a03f9d12b90368403eb.png Trash. You will be redirected to the Trash folder.
  • To the right of the Zap you want to restore, click the settings icon 1b5d0948aaade9d038b3d80fd68f8e96.png . A dropdown menu will open.
  • Select either:
    • e0986a7e2f57e63dc48bf860144b8c8e.png Move to folder: move the Zap to a different folder.
    • 370b6d78ffe9ca8a9b6563d0f8087ff7.png Move to project: move the Zap to a project instead of a folder.

If it’s deleted from the trash as well, I don’t know if the recovery but you can try contacting the Zapier support here- https://zapier.com/app/get-help. Hope it helps!

Hey Will, deleted Zaps go to Zaps → Trash for 30 days, so check there first. If it’s not in Trash or showing as Private in another workspace, reach out to Zapier Support with the Zap name/ID, they’re the only ones who can recover it.

Sorry to hear your Zap was deleted! I can see you reached out to our Support team and they replied, but I couldn’t see a reply from you there. Were you able to get the Zap back?

If you’ve still not been able to recover the Zap, I’d recommend following up with the Support team so that they can investigate further. If you can’t see their reply in your email inbox, try searching your spam/junk folder or searching your inbox for any emails from zapier.com in case it’s been misplaced. 

Please report back here to let us know how you get on with them, want to make sure this gets sorted!
