Constant Contact "Email Already Exists" error in Zapier.

I’ve created a Zap for a client that adds a contact to their Constant Contact account every time someone subscribes to the Squarespace form on their website.

 

However, I have been regularly receiving an email with the following error message:

“Validation failed: Email already exists for contact a2a772ea-f40b-11ed-9d04-fa163ec8ab78”

 

There may be a very simple solution to this problem, but I’m not all that familiar with Zapier so I’m just not sure why this error is occurring. 

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi @numadgroup 

You may have to use this Zap step logic:

  • Action: Find Contact (else Create Contact)
  • Action: Update Contact
