Constant Contact (1.11.0) step was safely halted error.

Hi. I get errors often when trying to create a Zap that will send new registrants of an Eventbrite event to a Constant Contact list. It often tells me it can’t create that contact because it already exists. Is there a way to add an existing contact to the CC list? Thx!

Try changing the Zap steps logic to this:

  1. Trigger: Eventbrite - New Attendee Registered
  2. Action: Constant Contact - Find/Create Contact
  3. Action: Filter
    1. Check if an existing Contact was found
  4. Action: Constant Contact - Update Contact

 

Thx! Trying that. I get stuck on the action step Find or Create Contact. It’s asking for an email (required field). What do I do here? Sorry, I’m not a coder ha.

Map the email variable from step 1.

I think this is above my pay grade. There are too many choices, and I don’t know what to put in each box. I just want to sync my Eventbrite list with my CC list.
