Connecting Typeform to Google Sheets for real-time data input

Any screenshots to help tell a better story?

Zap overview, setup steps, the worksheet before and after a run….all would be very helpful.

i simplified the steps first name & email , then submit; but The google sheet doesn’t give me input data

Correct. The Sheets action you chose is quite literally just to create a new worksheet / tab in your existing spreadsheet.

Assuming you do need to create a new sheet every time the TF is submitted, then you need to add another action step after that which is to update spreadsheet rows. Then you’ll be able to map the data.

Try using Create Spreadsheet Row action as right now you are just creating a new spreadsheet.

If you want to keep a single spreadsheet for tracking the data, there is no need to use the Create Spreadsheet and just map the spreadsheet that you created manually for this. Hope it helps!

I wanted to update the headers, based on a existing sheet.

the zap still doesn’t give me the data input of the form .

the input in the sheet is only as in screenshot; not the columns of the typeform questions..

It will only give you input when you submit a form as it’s an instant trigger. After submitting the form, test the trigger again and after that you can dynamically map the data.
