Connecting Tilda Publishing CRM to Zapier for filtered lead data

I need to connect the forms on Tilda website to the email service Benchmarkemail via Zapier. So I set an integration of Tilda with Zapier, connected the forms on Tilda in the each form settings section, and integration started working. Only despite different CRMs in Tilda for different forms the only option of the trigger action in Zapier I have is a “new lead”. I can't choose the source of the lead, can't set the particular CRM I need, there's only just "new lead" option. So as I get it, every new lead from all CRMs I have would trigger the data sending. But I need filtered data, nonly those from a particular CRM. How can I set this?

Hello @civicfacilitation

Tilda’s Zapier app only exposes one trigger, New Lead, and it doesn’t let Zapier pick a specific CRM/form as the trigger source. So by default, all leads from all CRMs will fire the Zap.

The workaround is to keep the trigger as New Lead, then filter right after it:

  1. Add a Filter by Zapier step

  2. Filter on a field like the form name, page, source, or CRM name/ID (whatever Tilda sends in the lead payload)

  3. Only continue if it matches the CRM/form you want

If Tilda isn’t passing a clean identifier, another option is to send each form to a different webhook endpoint and use Webhooks by Zapier instead, but the Filter approach is usually the simplest.

Hey there @civicfacilitation! Did the suggestions from drtanvisachar and guides that Troy shared help to point you in the right direction?

Let us know if you got it sorted, or could do with some more help to get the Zap to filter out the relevant leads. Want to make sure you’re all set! 🙂

Hi, thanks for your concerns! I tried to set filter, but failed. That was before Troy sent the guides and I then just started looking for some other ways of automatisation. So filally I got on without using Zapier.

Sorry to hear you ran into some trouble setting up the filter @civicfacilitation. I’m really glad you found a solution that works for you, even if it's not with Zapier.

Feel free to reach back out if you ever decide to revisit using filters for this, or if there's anything else we can help with. 🙂
