Confluence Blog creation not possible with new API

Since September 3rd, all my zaps with confluence have been stalling.
I take the automatic AI generated MOM from Fathom and I put them as blogs in confluence.
The issue comes from the deprecated API. The new API does not work as it should and I get error 404.

I have reset the link with Confluence, left the input almost clean, and followed every request from the API manual. I even made a Python script and tested it and it worked perfectly with a Token.
I also tried to implement the Token option with the Zapier configuration by adding it as a header, both in text and base 64 with no success.
Running out of ideas

The URL is correct (masked it for privacy purposes)
The body has been tested in python with no issues. I added also a API token as header to test it with a known authorization which works with python script. I tried spaceid as text and number.

Any idea would be appreciated...

Just after my comment I recreated the Zap and now it seems to be working. Probably new release or updates solved the issue. Thanks!

Hey @asela,

You can try to use POST request in Webhooks in Zapier action if you are having troubles with API request. If the python script is working fine then the Webhooks in Zapier will be able to achieve it. Here is a helpful article about Webhooks in Zapier- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496083355661-How-to-get-started-with-Webhooks-by-Zapier. Hope it helps!

Thanks for the info @Sparsh from Automation Jinn That is great, but then why would I be using Zappier altogether? The whole point that the standard API tools would work and be integrated automatically with the tool. For me this is an issue with Zappier that did not remove the deprecated API from Atlassian and did not integrate the new one, hence my open case. Thanks!

Hey @asela,

Great to hear that you were able to make it work. Just to be clear I don’t work for Zapier but rather am a Zapier Solution Partner. You can try contacting the Zapier support here if you have any feedback or any feature request here- https://zapier.com/app/get-help
