Question

Combining rows in Google Sheet Zap fails to include all rows after second row

Hello,

I want to send a single email containing information from several rows in a Google Sheet file.

I've followed the steps in this conversation: https://community.zapier.com/how-do-i-3/combining-rows-on-common-column-in-google-sheets-3232

But it only combines 2 rows and then the following rows are sent separately.

Could you help me fix this?

Thank you.

Hi @lulu1984

Good question.

For us to have true context, post screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer. Here are the screenshots:

I added step 6 because it was sending a blank email after sending the ones with information.

This is just an exemple of a path. I have 4 more depending of the name used in Value.

Thank you.

@lulu1984

Double check your Zap step logic, which likely explains why you are experiencing the results.

Step 1: Zap triggers each time a new row is added to a GSheets.

Step 2: Appends entry to a digest for the provided Code from Step 1

Step 3: Pushes the Code value from Step 1 onto a Storage List

Step 4: Pops a value from the end of the Storage List using the Key from Step 3

Step 5: Releases the Digest for the Code value from Step 4

Hello,

I honestly don’t understand the logic. I just followed what I found on another post.

I feel like I’m being tested with your answer… so maybe step 1?

Thanks,

@lulu1984

I recommend testing and checking your Zap Runs, which will help you trace the data being used.

Each Zap Run shows the DATA IN/OUT for each Zap step.
