Hi all,

I have a Zap that pulls data from a Google Sheet when a new row is added, I pull the relevant data from the columns I want, and forward onto another service in a formatted message. Standard stuff.

This Zap is working great, however, I just added a new column called “Primary Image” which has an image URL as a value within the row. I have re-run the zap on test data and it picks up the new column, so I have added that to the message I am sending elsewhere.

This works when testing, data I can see, column is there, message sent is correct with new column data, it all works.

However, as soon as I publish, it misses off the new “Primary Image” column value within the message I am sending out once a new row has been detected and values have been pulled. What’s weird, is the I did add some new text to the message alongside the intended column value that is meant to be pulled and the text is appearing, so it has updated, it just isn’t adding the data (url) from this new column.

I have run many tests, and each test works fine with brand new pulled row data.

What could be the issue? Does Zapier not like live URLs from Google Sheet row values?

Hi @zap_whale

Check your Zap Runs history to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/

For us have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

With screenshots, outline a specific example for us.
