Question

Cognito form name not seen and logo in email not working.

Hi there,

I have an enquiry zap which takes info from a cognito form but the person who takes the enquiries name isn’t seen.

Then the logo sent from outlook in the zap comes through in the email recieved as the name logo not the actual logo.

Can anyone shed some light on how to fix these issues please.

Hi @smacrae

For us to have more info, post these screenshots:

  • how your Zap steps are outlined
  • how your Zap steps are configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible

This last field on the cognito form “enquiry taken by” doesn’t show up in the zapier as a choice to add in the email signature. And the logo does show <img src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1mBOS2QFJzOAph2uFiGs1iT7-G-jnUgAW" alt="Right at Home Logo" width="200">

@smacrae

Your screenshots do not show how the Outlook BODY field is configured.

Hey @smacrae, just checking in! 👋 Were you since able to get this sorted, or is the Enquiry taken by field still not available in the Zap?

If it’s still missing, it could just be that the selected test record didn’t have any value set in that field. 🤔 Sometimes if a field doesn’t contain a value it won’t be sent over by the trigger app.

In which case, I’d suggest selecting a different test record from the Cognito Forms trigger to see if you can find one that contains a Enquiry taken by name so you can then select that field in the Microsoft Outlook action.

Keep us posted on how you get on!
