I want to inform clients that their deliverables are ready with a message in their slack channel send only when the parent task is marked “complete”. It works for main tasks but it’s also doing it for subtasks which the client is not interested in. Subtasks are marked “false” in the zapier action dropdown so they shouldn’t be sending correct? Not sure the issue.

You may want to add a Filter as Step 2 to filter out Subtasks.
