Question

Changing frequency of checks for automated steps

I am looking to see if there is a way to alter the parameters of how frequently a check will run on an automated weather check Zap I have set up. It is currently set to run and create an Asana task from a template based on how cold the weather will be (anything under 10 degrees sends out a task notice to a property manager). Is there a way to have it run every other day or every other two days? Or is it just at 7 am every day in the location you have set and there is no way to alter it?

TIA!

Hi @Lorien

You can add Zap step logic so that it runs on the desired schedule.

  1. Trigger: Schedule - Custom Frequency
    1. See screenshot below for available settings

Hey @Lorien,

I think you will have to use a Get Weather action with Schedule as a trigger. Then you can add a filter to detect if the weather is less than 10 degrees and send out a task notice to a property manager using Asana.

Hope it helps!

Hi and welcome to the Community, @Lorien! 😁

Did Troy’s suggestion of setting the interval on a Schedule by Zapier trigger allow you to get it running every other day or two days?

Want to make sure you’re all good here, so please keep us posted on how it goes!
