Hey Everyone,
I have my CassidyAI trigger setup inside of my zapier zap, when Cassidy finishes a workflow, it sends a call to Zapier containing all the information that was collected inside of the Cassidy Workflow, its then sent to zapier which also acts as the Zap trigger. Everything worked perfectly fine until recently where all my automations using cassidy AI as a trigger get triggered by Cassidy finishing its workflow, but none of the information is being recieved on zapier’s end. However when I go into the zap manually, all the information populates and it works when I do it manually.

Pictures show how the trigger works when zap is turned on, versus when i manually use a trigger entry:

Idk what to do here.

Hi @KrazyKannon

For Zap Runs with an error, for us to have context, we would need to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step.

You may need to remap variables in Zap step 2.

You may need to add a Filter step to check that variables have values that are used in required fields in the action steps.

Filter help: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/integrations#help

If you are having issues with data returned from Zap step 1, then try reaching out to Cassidy Support for heIp with their Zap app integration.

Hi @KrazyKannon 👋

How did you get on with Troy’s suggestions? Did remapping the fields and adding a Filter help to get things sorted?

Keep us posted on where you’re at, want to make sure this gets sorted! 🙂

Hi @KrazyKannon

This is Ian from CassidyAI, we investigated this behavior and it should be entirely resolved now. Let us know if you’re still having issues!

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best,
Ian

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the response Ian, Cassidy pushed out an update that fixed this error and everything was fine now, just glad it wasn’t something I was doing wrong on my end!! Thanks to Cassidy and Zapier Support teams for working on this diligently!!

That’s awesome news, @ianwoodfill—thanks for sorting it! @KrazyKannon, thanks so much for following up here to confirm that it’s definitely working now. And thanks as well to @Troy Tessalone for jumping in to help out earlier. 🤗

I’m so pleased this was resolved so quickly! Feel free to reach back out if we can help with anything else. In the meantime, happy Zapping! 😁⚡️
