Can't Enter Valid Value for Subscriber Email from Bullhorn List
I’m attempting to set up a Zap to Sync new Bullhorn candidates with Mailchimp subscribers.
On Step 2/Configure I can’t find a valid value for Subscriber Email.
There is a long list of available Bull Horn Fields but none of them are an email.
How do I configure Subscriber Email if there is NO option available on the list?

An option to try is to add this Zap action as step 2: Bullhorn - Find Candidate
See if searching by the Candidate ID from Zap step 1 returns the Email.
If not, then you may have to try reaching out to Bullhorn Support for help with their app and Zap app integration.

I tried adding the Find Candidate step but I’m getting an error with the ID field.
Do you have any suggestions?
(I’m not sure why Bull Horn is adding the 70227 after the ID.)

The reason for the error is because you have the Fields to Lookup set to “Email 1”, but it should be the Candidate ID.
See the screenshot.
For the Candidate ID field, the mapped variable from step 1 has a key name of “ID” and a key value of “70227”.

Thank you! I changed the Fields to Lookup to “ID” and left everything else blank. Is that the correct way to complete Step 2/Configure?
I tested it and got this error “The app returned "Repeated field 'id' at position 4.". I’m lost on how to get this to work.

Below is the set up for Zap 1 and 2.
ZAP 1 Set up: new Candidate in Bullhorn CRM - Fields to Lookup set to Email 1 and ID (Is this correct?)
ZAP 2 Setup: Find Candidate - Candidate ID set and Fields to Lookup set to ID (Is this correct?)
ZAP 2 Error Message - Failed to find a candidate in Bullhorn CRM The app returned "Repeated field 'id' at position 4.".

Hmm...that may be a bug/issue with how the Bullhorn Zap step is configured on the backend.
Looks like the Support team have added you to a bug report for the issue of New Candidate and Updated Candidate triggers only returning the ID and the score data for the candidate.
And I did some digging and found another bug relating to the Find Candidate action where it’s not able to find candidates, which appears to be what you’re also running into here. So I’ve added you to the list of users being impacted by this. We can’t give any estimate as to when Bullhorn’s developers will be able to get a fix in place for these issues, but we’ll be sure to drop you an email as soon as it’s fixed!
In the meantime, I’d recommend giving Troy’s suggestion of using an API Request action a try. If you’ve not used that type of action before check out our Set up an API request action guide.
