Best practice to re-try steps when API calls fail?

hi,

I have an API call which frequently fails, but starts working again after a few minutes.

What is the best practise to handle this?

I was thinking a delay step upon error, then pasting the whole flow underneath .  what are people’s thoughts?

@fh78248f49hf24vf224

You are probably hitting an API rate limit.

Use a “Delay After Queue” step to space out each API call.

Hey,

Turn autoreplay on for your account. See more about it here- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/19220226086797-What-is-replay. Hope it helps!
