I am still having this error. Anyone found a fix for this already?

We hit an error adding your new account

authentication failed: Invalid Base URL.

  1. Make sure you click "Allow" or "Accept" on the permission popup
  2. Double check your Account has the correct permissions
  3. Check out our help docs for more information

Hi @Luke Beley

This depends on which app you are trying to authenticate. Basically this means you weren't able to connect Zapier to your app.

Hi @Luke Beley

Good question.

Try using a new/different private browser.

forgot to mention that i am trying to connect gravity forms to Zapier

Hi @Luke Beley

Did you try this suggestion to connect Gravity Forms to Zapier?

Try using a new/different private browser.

Check out the available help articles for using Gravity Forms in Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/gravity-forms/help

Workaround is to use the Gravity Forms Webhook Add-On: https://www.gravityforms.com/add-ons/webhooks/

The Zap trigger would be Webhook Catch Hook: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/help

Hey @Luke Beley, how’s it going? Did you have any questions with the information above and the workaround option?

i’m giving up getting Gravity Forms connected to Zapier it should be this difficult. I am getting the same error

I am trying to learn how to get webhooks setup in Zapier. The links given doesn't really give a step by step how to do it tho

do i need the pro version of gravity forms to be able to install the Zapier Add-On in Gravity forms and get it integrated to Zapier?

Hi @Luke Beley

It doesn't say so here https://docs.gravityforms.com/zapier-add-on/

What it says is that you need to instal the app first then try connecting.

@Luke Beley just a quick check in here, we you able to get all set up with Gravity forms? Let us know either way so we can make sure to document what worked for you and share with the rest of the Community!

Best,

Rachael

Nothing is working so far. I am focusing my attention to something else atm I feel that I have spend too much time figuring this out and I not getting nowhere

Hi @Luke Beley

I’m sorry that you’ve had a lot of difficulty connecting Gravity Forms to Zapier. If you do decide to give it another go and get stuck, I’d recommend reaching out to the Zapier support team (using the Get Help form) as the Support team have a lot of super powers that we don’t here in the Community. If you do get in touch with them, be sure to include everything that you’ve already looked at/tried as that will help you to get on the same page quicker.

Update: I just figured out the plugin Basic Auth will cause this issue
