Hi, I’m trying to associate one contact to another contact in Hubspot. I saw a post from a year ago that identified that you can only associate a contact with other types of objects in Hubspot, like a company, but not with another contact. Is this still true?

 Hey @Maddie Webb,

Yes it’s possible now if you see the article here- https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/associate-records

But I am not sure if it’s available through a native Hubspot action in Zapier. You can try checking through the Hubspot association action in Zapier. But it’s possible Hubspot API v4 see below with this specific endpoint-

I know this can get a bit technical but once you understand the API documentation. You can use this Webhook by Zapier action to create a contact to contact association. Hope it helps!

Hi @Maddie Webb

Try this Zap action: HubSpot - Create Associations

Thanks @Sparsh from Automation Jinn, I don’t think we need it badly enough to be that complicated.

@Troy Tessalone creating an association does not allow contacts to be associated with other contacts.

Is there a way to submit a feature request to Zapier for this? It may have already been done.

@Maddie Webb

Feedback and feature requests can be submitted via a ticket to Zapier Support to be logged: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
