AI by Zapier — Rate Limit Exceeded on ALL Gemini Pro Models (Paid API Key, Not Rapid Testing)

Hi everyone,

I'm facing a persistent issue with AI by Zapier where every Gemini Pro model fails with a rate limit error. I've done extensive troubleshooting and can't resolve it.

The error:

"Failed to create a results in AI by Zapier. Rate limit exceeded. Please try again later."

What makes this unusual:

  • This happens on ALL Gemini Pro models — not just one specific version
  • I am on a paid Google AI Studio API plan
  • I waited 6 hours between test runs — this is NOT a rapid testing issue
  • I have multiple Zaps with this setup — none of them work with any Pro model
  • Gemini 2.0 Flash works fine — the issue is specific to Pro models only


    Any help or workarounds appreciated. Thanks!

I can see you also have a support ticket open on this and the team recommended getting in touch with Google Gemini Support directly about those 429 rate limit errors. Were you able to work with Google's team to get this resolved?
