I keep getting an error message when trying to have a contact added to a household in Wealthbox.

My Zap successfully creates a new contact when a meeting is booked as well as successfully creating a new household.

My next set is to find a contact and then add that contact to a household. it is successful during a Test, but is not successful outside of the Test.

Here is my process:

Find Contact:

Add member to Household:

Hi @RossB

For Zap step 6, you would need to map dynamic variables from previous steps for these fields:

  • Household
    • Expects the Household ID
  • Member
    • Expects the Member ID

Help link for the expected values to map to dropdown fields: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496241696141-Add-custom-values-to-dropdown-menu-fields-in-Zaps

Hi @RossB

Welcome to the Zapier community!

From the screenshot you shared, I believe you’ll need to:

  • map the “Member ID” or some similar ID value of the contact created that you’re looking to add to the group.
  • in the “Member” field of the “Add member to Household” action step. Click on the three dots on the right of the field to set a custom value instead of a static one.

That said, you might not need the #5 (Find Contact in Wealthbox CRM) step if you can find this member ID in the third step (Create Contact in Wealthbox CRM).

Hope this helps!
