I have a stan store account where I sell a masterclass.
I would like to create a zap connecting my Squarespace so that when someone makes a purchase, Squarespace receives that information and then I can send emails to my buyers from stan.
I have tried to do custom API integrations with Zapier, I even created a new API key in Squarespace but I am still getting a 404 error.
Has anyone else tried this successfully?

Using custom API is more advanced way of using Zapier. Here is a helpful article about using API’s in Zapier- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496083355661-How-to-get-started-with-Webhooks-by-Zapier.
If you are using native Squarespace payments then I would recommend using Webhooks or Email parser for the order confirmation. Try using the Webhook event Order.create to catch when an order is created in Squarespace. See more about it here- https://developers.squarespace.com/webhooks/events/order-create.
I also don’t see any Send Email action for Stan. But you can connect your email provider like Gmail/Outlook and use Send Email action to send the email. Hope it helps!

Here are a few screenshots of what i see on my end. My stan store is connected with no problem, it's when I get to Squarespace forms that I am having issues.
I've thought about adding an additional step like creating a google sheet to first capture the information from Stan and then link the google sheet to Squarespace forms to then create the form contact and go from there.
the ultimate goal is to be able to email the customers from stan store with my Squarespace email account.

What is the link to the Squarespace API endpoint you referenced to configure the Squarespace API request in the Zap step? (url)
