Unable to correctly map the transaction ID from Xero to MemberPress

I'm trying to set up a Zap that updates a MemberPress membership when Xero receives a payment update for an invoice. However, I'm having trouble mapping the transaction details correctly.

My Zap Setup:

  • Trigger: "New Payment" in Xero
  • Action: “Update transaction” in Memberpress

The Issue:

  • I’m unable to correctly map the transaction ID from Xero to MemberPress.
  • It seems like the data from Xero doesn’t provide a direct match with MemberPress, or I may be missing a step.

Has anyone successfully set this up before? How do you ensure the Xero payment update links to the correct MemberPress user and transaction?

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

You need to add the Get Transaction in Memberpress action for your workflow to work since the “Transaction ID” field in Memberpress looks for the ID from Memberpress and mapping the ID from Xero won’t work.

Kindly give it a try and let me know how it goes? I'll keep an eye out for your response!
