Error Netsuite Create Record : Cannot destructure property 'sublistTypes' of 'sublistsResponse' as it is undefined.

Hi,

I get an error on a “Create Record” Step in Netsuite as following :
“Cannot destructure property 'sublistTypes' of 'sublistsResponse' as it is undefined.”
I do not have any log in Netsuite Rest logs (not a suprise by the way as I don’t have any “Data in” in the Create Record step.

To be noticed :
- I try to create a custom record
- I did not have this error until today in SB and Production and could create the custom record without error
- I made amendments since yesterday on my zap and in Netsuite in Sandbox but not in Production, but got the same error on both.
- I tried to show / unshow and remove sublist in Netsuite without success

Thank you a lot for your help.

Just following up here to confirm that the bug has been fixed! 🎉

In case you missed the email notification that went out, here are the key details from it:

“We have issued two additional bug fixes for NetSuite's 'Create Record' action:

1. Resolved issues for Sandbox and Release Preview accounts:
A recent bug fix to removed unsupported sublist fields in 'Create Record' action caused issues for Sandbox & Release Preview (RP) NetSuite accounts. We found that those accounts were seeing field rendering issues and/or hitting an error in Zap runs: 'Unhandled error: TypeError: Cannot destructure property 'sublistTypes' of 'sublistsResponse' as it is undefined.'

Issues should be resolved. But for best results, we recommend refreshing your Sandbox/RP account so that they are on the latest version of our 'Zapier Automation' SuiteApp.

2. Resolved field rendering issues for record types with 'Matrix' sublist types:
We fixed field rendering bugs in most record types in a recent bug fix, allowing users to see expected fields in the editor in the 'Create Record' action. But some record types that have sublists fields that are of 'matrix' type were not fixed, such as the Inventory Item standard record type.”

Since this issue has now been resolved, we’ll be closing out this topic. If you run into any new issues please post a new topic in the Community here or contact Support directly to let us know. In the meantime, happy Zapping! 😁⚡

Hi there @Matthieu Lemarchand, welcome to the Community! 🎉

Sorry to hear that you’re running into that error. I did some digging on this end and it seems you’re running into a recently reported bug with the NetSuite app on Zapier that. You’ve been added to the list of affected users which ensures that you’ll be notified by email as soon as it’s resolved.

To get rid of the error in the meantime:

  1. Check that you are running the latest SuiteApp version installed in NetSuite Sandbox account.
  2. If not, install the Zapier Automation SuiteApp from the SuiteApp Marketplace in your Sandbox account: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/section_1539799323.html

Can you give that a try and let us know whether that does the trick?

Hi SamB,

Thanks a lot for your help.

I didn’t notice the new Zapier SuiteApp version in Netsuite : good to know.
That seems to fix all the problems I had.

Thanks again and have a good day,
