Question

Send email trigger won't stop forwarding emails that already been forwarded

I have build a zap stings that use [New Labeled Email] to [Send email], and I [Format date/time] to set the due date for the final task of [Create a task on Google task] on the string.

It works fine when I tested it, and when I published it. But after new emails being labeled and forwarded, the zaps won’t stop forwarding the same email, even when the email has been forwarded several times already. The email has not been moved since it was first labeled, and I am not sure which part of the zaps that are triggering it to continue sending more emails after each interface. How should I fix it?

Hi @Ryan Finke

Sounds like you created an infinite loop. (INFO)

You probably need to add a Filter step: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help

Help us have more info by posting screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode showing the field mappings.
